Toile de Jouy pattern was created in the 18th century in Jouy, France, and came into fashion through Marie Antoinette. The illustrations in the print usually depict peaceful French Countryside scenes and nature, which was beloved by the Queen and the court. Underbusts are perfect for ladies who may be new to wearing corsets and easier to fit as you only need to consider your waist size.
Featuring Enjoue’s original toile print linen fabric, comfortable but sturdy boning suitable for daily fashion wear, and strong satin cord laces for tight lacing. See our Size Guide for accurate sizing. Note: the linen fabric will have small fibers or faint lines within the weave. This is natural.
