The Elizabeth Gown is an homage to my favorite film since childhood, Pirates of the Caribbean! This gown is designed to be as movie-accurate as possible while still being unique to the brand aesthetic and present as strictly Enjoué-coded! The structure, fit, details, and all fabric and materials were personally fine-tuned and sourced by Sarah over a year of work to perfect this design.
She also prioritized this ensemble being accessible to different sizes/body types- we worked hard to create the most beautiful fit with very subtle lacing on the back to adjust the fit of the gown whether worn with or without the corset dress under. **Elizabeth Corset Dress sold separately**
The Elizabeth Gown styled with the matching corset dress under is my recreation of the baroque era dress given to Elizabeth Swann by Captain Barossa in the first film.
The gown includes 2 bustle buttons in the back of the skirt to wear it up, or wear it down full length. Featuring high quality, flat steel bones in the front for structure and high quality acrylic bones in the sides for comfort- this allows the gown to be light weight if worn o er the corset dress or with another corset, but still function as a corset if worn alone or simply over a chemise. The taffeta fabric is the exact color match to the dress from the movie, in the moody shade that lies somewhere between eggplant and maroon, with gorgeous depth to the color. *Color accuracy changes in photos depending on the light.
