The Pastoral Peplum Skirt is part of a full ensemble with the matching Pastoral Stays Corset, created as my own interpretation of the costume Marie Antoinette wears at her Petite Trianon opera performance in the film.
The skirt in beautiful sky blue taffeta features a peplum frill around the waist, 2 sets of bustle straps in 2 different lengths for bustling the front and/or back to your preference, a flat front waist band and elasticated back, and pockets! (Featuring one of the bustle straps worn as a matching choker). Styled here with the Provence Skirt & Palais Pannier.
