Designed by Sarah Loven, Enjoué’s third collection embraces the theme of chateau life. Ranging from the rustic, with fabrics and prints commonly found in the french countryside chateaus, to the more luxurious elements of Versailles and the blooming palace gardens. The Collection is imbued with a deep love of historical fashion, focusing on elements of the 17th-18th century, and is created with the intent to revive historical fashion in a more modern and wearable way. Enjoué brings a taste of rich culture and nostalgic whimsy to the wearer, encouraging the ultimate art of self-expression.

Though the word became less common in the French language in the following decades, it saw a surge in popularity again in the beatnik era when young culture-craving artists revisited the meaning of “enjoué”. It is more than a word.
